Hello Everyone.

Well a disastrous start to the 2013 season with three cancellations in the first five meets. The Easter meet was a big blow, being one of our biggest meets of the year and also a big meet to start the year for our charity, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, so we have a lot of catching up to do. If you have any ideas, please let us know.

The second meet was our AGM at Drax power station. An excellent venue for a meet, a great clubhouse and fantastic food and facilities. There was a bit of panic about us getting a committee for this year but once one hand went up a few more followed, so a good result. We lost six members and gained five, which was ok. So if you look at the committee list on the website, you will see new members. Once again, thank you to the outgoing committee for their hard work.

So lets hope we have a bit more luck with the weather in the coming months and no more cancelled meets. Please keep an eye on the website before you travel. We tried to let everyone know about the cancelled meets but if we missed you, please let us have your contact details for the future. Also, if you travelled to any cancelled meet, we are very sorry for any inconvenience caused but please check the website in future.

We are trying to rearrange a meet at Pateley Bridge on a blank weekend if they can accomodate us and we will keep you informed. Hopefully, we can enjoy the rest of the season and we hope to see you at one of our meets.
